The Global Action Network Sustainable Food from the Oceans and Inland Waters for Food Security and Nutrition is proud to be a partner of the International Conference on Ocean and Human Health, taking place in Lisbon on 11–12 December 2025. The event is organised by the Portuguese Ocean Decade Committee and held under the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (the UN Ocean Decade).

The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders from around the world to explore the vital links between ocean health and human wellbeing. As pressures from climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss continue to grow, this event will highlight scientific insights, emerging challenges, and opportunities for action across disciplines.
